Special moment in time
Nothing as special as this award has ever come my way. To be a new Inductee 2017 into the Massage Festival Hall of Fame was one of the most special and memorable moments in my life. I loved my visit to Cherokee, North Carolina, U.S.A. The beauty of the land was some of the most beautiful I had ever seen in my life! I hope to return for a visit!
Equines love aromatherapy
Had it not been for the horse, essential oils and the many benefits I have thus experienced with them I am certain not come about in my life. As a student of horse, when I was shown first hand the desire a special thoroughbred in my life had for the oils and therapeutic benefits I could not look back. I will be forever grateful for the outstanding education I received from my teacher Geary Whiting. With wise wisdom over the course of many years he has further instilled core values of hard work and not only living your dreams but manifest them also, bringing them to life!
equine massage
It was a pleasure to study at the Northwest School of Animal Massage! Not only did we apply the hands on massage routines for our equine but furthered our knowledge by writing book reports on our favorite equine authors. I chose Monty Robert's and his book Horse Sense For People which I will be publishing on our web site coming soon 2021!
equine touch
The words equine touch are very special in my mind thus I was drawn to study with Jock and Ivana Roddock. I received an excellent education moving into more of the emotional connections we have with horses I recall in our studies.
Equine ADjustor
The benefit I received from this specific training was more how I could apply yoga for horses if you will. I have always believed if we can relieve the muscle spasm and subluxations in the spine by specific therapeutic massage techniques and stretching routines, the need for the adjustments may not be necessary.
reiki master
Extremely valuable training I participated in to be awarded Reiki Master. With respect for the therapy art form of this certification it was an excellent program which opened me up further to train in the field of healing touch which much of this being self taught.
animal communication
In observation of horses of 30 years plus; I have learned so so much just simply by being with them in the field, living in horse time. Finding the healthy balance for the equines who are stalled can be a challenge. I always encourage natural herbs for such horses in particular as they are not able to forge naturally as they would even in a big field or pasture. This is also the platform whereby I discovered the powerful benefits of aromatherapy for horses to help keep their mindsets balanced in these domesticated circumstances.
EQuine Natural medicine
One of the most intriguing lessons learned while training with Marijke van de Water was the amazing results we had with our herd of horses whom we naturally vaccinated with a no-sode (homeopathic remedy) for the West Nile Virus back in the year 2000. It was highly effective with the results very similar to those of people who get a flu shot; they are with flu symptoms for the next few days just as our horses were.

The power of the body and mind connection does not lie. Some of the most fascinating moments I have experienced with the simple testing procedures for at times has helped bring resolve with serious health issues. Always an advantage for us to use these techniques if in doubt!
BAch Flowers
For each essence there is an emotional state attached to it. The mind is not the only way to determine which Bach Flower remedy to apply, but the body is also a map of where there may be possible disturbances. A fabulous study into the world of exquisite essences of plants and herbs.
Bach Flower Testimony
It was a beautiful day at the park with the lot filled with many trucks and trailers. From the hauling of our horses and great ride around the park with no issues at all, when it came to loading my horse back on the trailer, we had the big refusal; no way he was getting in the horse trailer which over the course of a few minutes, drew quite the crowd of people to witness which obviously did not help the situation. All of a sudden voices are being raised a small distance away at a truck driver who pulled away with the ramp of his horse trailer left down; the crowds attention swiftly turned to this moment of new excitement. In the meantime I quickly remedied my horse with about 5 drops of Rescue Remedy and voila' my horse loaded into the trailer and nobody even got a chance to witness it! Perfect scenario! I love how effective Bach Flower Remedies can be in such moments of crisis!
